Multrees Walk
A pilot project to make use of vacant shop fronts began at the end of April 2009 in Multrees Walk. Four vacant shop fronts had their windows covered with specially designed window vinyls. The vinyl’s feature real people who work in the BID area and it lists what their “Essential” Edinburgh is.

Promoting Princes Street
Essential Edinburgh worked with Primark to use their double frontage store to promote Princes Street.

While the store was undergoing refurbishment prior to their occupancy, Primark agreed to let us improve the appearance of the shop front and to promote shopping in Edinburgh.
