Rochelle Burgess is currently General Manager of St James Shopping Centre and Multrees Walk, Edinburgh’s largest covered centre housing 650,000sqft of prime retail and office space, anchored by John Lewis and Harvey Nichols.
With over 10 years in the retail and property industry, Rochelle has been involved in various city centre groups ranging from Tenant Associations/ Retail Policy Group/ City Associations and various marketing planning groups. She is currently Chair of the Academy @ St James and hub focused on Retail specific training which is host to the “Get Into” courses funded through the Princes Trust.
Now involved in the detailed planning of the £850 million St James Quarter redevelopment, she has a keen interest in City centre strategy planning/Government policy/New Generation and Development.
A key player within the shopping centre industry Rochelle currently sits on British Council of Shopping Centres Advisory panel.
Previously the Marketing and Events Manager at VisitScotland promoting Scottish tourism throughout UK and Europe, she has an exceptionally strong background in Sales/Marketing/ PR.
Rochelle was educated in Edinburgh and lives in the New Town with her Husband.
