Andrew Watson is the franchisee / owner, of McDonald’s Flagship restaurant in Princes Street, as well as the Drive Thru restaurant on Seafield Road , Edinburgh.
Andrew career has covered 30 years of food distribution, wholesaling and sales to the food service industry. Initially, working in a number of management roles across Scotland, and after completing his MBA at the University of Edinburgh, Andrew took a position in the Middle East, taking his wife Hilary and two daughters Abbi and Rebecca with them. Andrew worked in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for two years as National Sales and Distribution Manager for a well known drinks company.
On his return from the Middle East, Andrew moved to Cheshire to take over management of a wholesale business for a period before returning to Scotland to join the food group “3663”. Andrew worked for “3363” for eight years, as Director he managed the groups Fresh and Chilled business from North London and Bradford, and latterly as Director of Client Relations.
In 2010 Andrew bought the McDonald’s business on Princes Street, and has recently purchased a second McDonald’s in Seafield Road Edinburgh.
